Riot Games tasked us with creating multiple assets to promote the upcoming 2022 VALORANT World Championship. We tapped into trending social editing techniques to match Riot’s mission of “style meets sport.” Here are a few of the most unique assets we created for Instagram and vertical video format.
The first asset we created was a carousel advertisement for Instagram that outlines the key stories and personalities of all 16 teams set to compete at Champions. I wrote the copy and provided art direction on the asset to create a visually cohesive, on-trend asset that raised awareness and hype for the 2022 VALORANT World Championship.
The second social promotion we created were on-trend cutout montage videos, using feature photos of the biggest professional players. These vertical assets used the official song of Champions, and raised awareness of Champions 2022 through vertical platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.
